After many wonderful years together, I’m now selling my 1997 Toyota Avalon XLS. It’s a fantastic car, and it still runs great, but my wife recently got a new car and we don’t need three cars between the two of us.
My Avalon has the top-of-the-line package (V6, leather, 12-disc CD changer, sun roof, premium sound, dual power seats), and it has INCREDIBLE leg-room for all four seats–if you or your family members have long legs, this car is a dream, and any Avalon owner will tell you what I mean: even on most BMW or Mercedes cars, you don’t get anywhere near this much internal cabin space. The ride is powerful and very smooth, the sound system is gorgeous, and the car is in great shape: same single owner, never been in a major accident, all necessary maintenance has been performed, and it only has some minor nicks from normal wear and tear on the exterior.
I love this car, and I’m hoping to find a buyer who will love it to, since it has many years of good life yet to give. I’m selling it direct for $6,000, and I have all the paperwork and maintenance history to make this a smooth and hassle-free transaction.
